Description:¶

Configure server automation and monitoring to improve system stability and ensure quick detection of issues. This task includes setting up automatic service restart on server boot, updating server security rules, configuring server resource monitoring alerts, and enabling application crash alerts using Sentry and Grafana.

Sub Tasks:¶

1. Configure Auto Restart for Services

• Set up automatic restart for all required services when the server boots.
• Ensure application services start automatically after server restart.
• Verify restart behavior across all servers.

2. Update Server Security Rules

• Review existing firewall and security configurations.
• Update server access rules and required ports.
• Ensure secure access policies are applied across all servers.

3. Configure Server Resource Monitoring Alerts

• Monitor RAM usage, storage utilization, and CPU cores usage for all servers.
• Configure alert thresholds.
• Send notifications when resource usage exceeds limits.

4. Setup Application Crash Alerts (Sentry & Grafana)

• Integrate Sentry for application error tracking.
• Configure Grafana alerts for system and application monitoring.
• Enable notifications when application crashes or critical errors occur.
